The cushion is available in 3 different diameters and is lightweight and portable so it can be moved easily and utilized in different situations. The top surface is made of a polyester velour which offers very little friction to promote ease of movement and reduce the force necessary to change position. This minimizes stress and strain on the user’s back, hips and knees as they swivel around.
The underside is made of nylon with a polyurethane coating that grips the surface underneath so the cushion does not slide off the seat or bed. The pad is of durable and long-lasting construction that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

What We All Know About Transfer Aids
Transfer aids are useful for maintaining patient comfort and health by allowing for ease of adjustment of an individual’s posture on mattress, generally for those at rest. Aids are specifically for those who may suffer from mobility issues or pain or other medical complications. Using transfer aids will allow your staff to easily address concerns of movement adjustments, cleanliness, and a safe place to rest.
Transfer aids are recommended for a medical installation or home care scenario where patients require protection or an additional layer for where they rest. Transfer aids can also be used by home care professionals for patients who suffer from mobility issues. Consult your medical professional to find out of transfer aids are right for you.
